Pumpkin Cookies for Dogs Recipe
What you’ll need: Cutting board, rolling pin, blender or mixer.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup of cooked oatmeal
- 2 cups of rice flour
- 1 cup of grated carrots
- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup of flour for dusting your rolling pin
Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees Blend applesauce, carrots and pumpkin until smooth. Mix oatmeal and rice flour together in a mixing bowl. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and gently mix to make cookie dough. Flour your cutting board and place dough in the middle and roll into ¼ inch thick. Use cookie cutters to cut cookies. Place cookies on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for seven minutes. Turn cookies over and cook for an additional five minutes. Remove from oven and cool on your baking rack.
