How to Measure for a Dog Collar

How to Measure:

1. Use a soft measuring tape.

2. Wrap it around your dog’s neck where the collar will naturally sit.

3. Pull it snug but not tight—you should be able to fit two fingers between the tape and your dog’s neck.

4. Add 1 to 2 inches to that measurement for comfort.

Example:

• If your dog’s neck measures 16", look for a collar that fits 15–19".

Tip: Always choose a collar size where your dog’s neck size falls in the middle of the range.
