Designed for police K9s, military units, search and rescue, and serious training, this premium tactical collar combines exceptional strength with world-renowned hardware for uncompromising reliability.

At its core is the legendary Austrialpin COBRA® quick-release buckle, manufactured in Austria and trusted worldwide in mountaineering, rescue, and military applications. The buckle features a 9 kN breaking strength with an 18 kN loop strength, and is precision-engineered from 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum, stainless steel pins and locking components, and brass clips for maximum durability.

The collar also features an Austrialpin aircraft-grade aluminum adjuster rated to 15 kN, allowing precise sizing while maintaining exceptional strength.

For leash attachment, K9 THORN selected a black anodized curved aluminum V-ring with a 20 kN breaking strength. The curved design makes it easy to attach virtually any leash or carabiner—including the KONG Frog® connector—quickly and efficiently, even with one hand.

Constructed from 1.75" (45 mm) PA6 polyamide webbing, the collar offers a 20 kN (approximately 4,500 lb.) breaking strength. The 2.2 mm thick webbing provides an ideal medium stiffness that balances comfort with control. Compared to polyester, polypropylene, and cotton webbing, polyamide offers outstanding durability, abrasion resistance, weather resistance, and color retention. The sealed ends resist fraying and unraveling for years of dependable service.

A full-length hook-and-loop (Velcro®-style) panel allows you to attach name tapes, identification patches, unit patches, or morale patches, making the collar ideal for professional working dogs.
