This is a great product - without this I found it difficult to get the collar of our dog - this quick release works like the name suggests - one quick push and the collar comes off - could not be any easier

Not sure how much of a difference it makes but could not get same number of prongs on each end and have it fit correctly. It does make getting it on and off a little easier.
