Arrived very quickly and seems better made than the original from several years ago.

The ClickLock Jacket is great. I’m 75 and my fingers aren’t as nimble nor strong as they once were. The prongs on the 3.2 size are difficult to pinch together. The ClickLock makes the process easier and less time consuming. The collar is like putting power steering on her. I’m not making corrections. I’m using light conversation with the flick of my wrist to get her in the desired position in relation to my body. She has responded wonderfully to the conversation we now have. I have recommended it to two of my friends and they have both joked to me how their walks have improved since they added power steering to their dog walks. My black 16 month old German Shepherd and I are enjoying our “CASUAL” daily walks since we got our wonderful new tool.

With pain in my hands, the clip release makes the Herm Sprenger prong collar usable for me. Unfortunately, the design of the clip is poor as the clip guard easily slips off. These additional clip guards allows me to not have to buy a whole clip when this piece falls off. Glad they are available separately. They fall off very easily and should be redesigned by the manufacturer of the collar.

I like this clip as I feel as if BOLO cannot get out of the collar when it is on. However, I ordered 2 extra and the first day one came off and I never found it. They are just plastic and perhaps I did not have it clicked shut well enough. . I will order a couple more and am now making sure it is clicked shut well. He is a big muscular strong boy and I worry if he got excited it may pop off. Just in case, I use two collars tethered together so that if his prong fails I have a back up. So far so good. All in all a good idea but given that it secures his collar it seems a stronger material would have been better.
